Hello all

This time i am going to show you " Shahi Paneer Masala" preparation. Last week few of my friends visited my home and we planned to prepare this recipe and was successful.





                                             Shahi Paneer Masala


Ingredients Needed:


  1. Paneer (Cottage cheese) - one cup (cut into small size cubes)
  2. Onions - 2 medium size (grind for a paste)
  3. Tomato - 2 medium size (grind for a paste)
  4. Cashew paste - Half cup
  5. Fresh Cream - As needed
  6. Refined oil - as needed
  7. Salt - as needed
  8. Turmeric (Haldi) - 1/2 tbsp
  9. Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  10. Coriander leaves (Kothimeer) - 1 chopped

Spices:

  1. Cumin (Jeera) seeds - 1 tbsp
  2. Cinnamon (Dalchina Chekka) - 1 medium piece
  3. Cloves (Lavangam) - 2 no's
  4. Cardamom (Yaluka) - 2 no's
  5. Black Peppercorns (Miriyalu) - 3 no's
For Garam masala:


        -  You may use Shahi Paneer Masala which is readily available in the market.

Recipe Preparation:

  • Heat oil (4 tbsp) / ghee in the pan, add above mentioned spices, fry it for 1 minute.
  • Add onion paste to it, fry till it becomes golden brown, while cooking you may add some salt (as needed).
  • Add above Tomato paste / puree, cook for 5 mins till the raw smell goes out.
  • Add 1/2 tbsp of Red chilli powder, 1 1/2 tbsp of Shahi Paneer Masala powder and stir.
  • Add Cashew paste(1/2 cup) and 40ml of fresh cream to it, also add 1 cup of water and boil.
  • Cook on low flame for 6-8 mins until the gravy thickens. Finally garnish with Coriander leaves and pour some fresh cream on top.

Serve hot with Roti.
