Kaddu Kheer
Kaddu Kheer
Hi all
As this is Holy 'Ramadan' time we have a special sweet made - Kaddu Kheer. It's very simple to prepare and very delicious.
Ingredients Needed:
Preparation:
- Peel off Kaddu(outer layer) and grate it for 1 cup, squeeze it to remove excess water. Take a pan, add ghee and Kaddu.
- Sort this for 10 mins until the raw smell of Kaddu is gone, add milk and cook on low flame for 2 mins.
- Add sugar & cardamom powder to this mixture and cook well for 10 mins on low flame till it thickens.
- As you see the mixture start thickening, you may off the flame and add grated almonds on top.
Keep this aside for a while to cool it down and then serve it. It will be more delicious if you put this in a fridge and serve cool.
Don't miss to try this at home. Keep reading my recipes and share your feedback.
Thank you....
